Our story

It started with our aunty.

A former Malaysian restaurateur living with cerebral palsy, our aunty became an NDIS participant — and discovered there was nothing she could actually eat. With no funding-eligible ethnic food anywhere near her, a woman who once cooked for a living was left eating cup noodles, and slipped into depression.

We're Horng Yang and Shinen — siblings who came home to fix that. As we built Bitely, we realised her story wasn't rare; it's one of thousands. Food isn't just nutrition. For so many in our communities, it's identity, comfort, and dignity.

We built the vendor operating system first — giving local kitchens everything they need to run like real food businesses. Now we're opening the marketplace: the ongoing meals solution for NDIS and Support at Home, where compliance, invoicing and care-manager settlement are handled automatically, and where the food finally reflects the people it's for.
